Aims and Scope

The Aim of Applied Biosciences is to publish rigorously peer-reviewed research across the entire spectrum of basic and applied Science. The scope of the journal includes the research, industrial and commercial aspects of Natural Sciences, in areas such as Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals; Food and Agriculture; Biofuels; Genetic Engineering and Molecular Biology; Genomics and Synthetic Biology; Nanotechnology; Environment and Biodiversity; Environmental Protection; Process engineering and Medical related Sciences.

Manuscript Types

Currently, at Applied Biosciences, we accept three types of Scientific Papers: Original Research Articles, Minireview, and Case Reports. Applied Biosciences requires authors to select the appropriate article type for their manuscript carefully. Please pay close attention to the word count limits. Peer-review Policy

In Applied Biosciences we process all submitted material for double-blind peer review Policy. In this type of peer review, the reviewers don't know the identity of authors and vice versa.

Open Access Policy

All Applied Biosciences articles are open access under the license  Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC-BY). See http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ for more information. The author(s) retain copyright, but the content is free to download, distribute and adapt for commercial or non-commercial purposes, given appropriate attribution to the original article. All content included on Applied Biosciences, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, video/audio clips, downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of the person or entity who or which owned it before submission to Applied Biosciences.

Preprint Policy

Authors publishing in Applied Biosciences are not allowed to share their work, ahead of submission to a peer-reviewed journal, on repositories or pre-print servers (such as ArXiv, BiorxiV, PeerJ Preprints, and others).
